Chakori is a Pakistani Urdu feature film. This film was released on March 23, 1967 on Eid-ul-Azha Day in Dhaka, East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). The film was directed by Captain Ehtisham.[1] It was Nadeem Baig's and Shabana's debut film. The film went on to be the year's biggest superhit, running for 81 weeks, and became a platinum jubilee film.

The Music of Chakori, provided by Robin Ghosh became extremely popular in West Pakistan and in the then East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. The soundtrack of the film, however, did face stiff competition from the soundtracks of the two films Aag and Doraha. For his talent as a musician in Chakori, Robin Ghosh won the Nigar Award for Best Musician.
